This watch introduces a ton of new upgrades to the Black Bay model. Although it is technically part of the Black Bay family, it has multiple new upgrades and changes that have been developed specifically for the Black Bay Pro 79470.
The watch has a 39mm stainless steel case and the crown has been updated to allow for maximum grip, similar to those used in Tudor’s vintage Submariners. Furthermore, Tudor has made the applied hour markers from monobloc luminous ceramic. The benefit of this is that it enhances the technical aesthetic of Black Bay Pro as well as considerably increases the luminous surface of the hour markers.
